PAYMENT Our registered Postal Address is: Madly Eclectic DESPATCH During busy periods it may be necessary to alter despatch times, we will inform you at the time of processing. DELIVERY We do not take responsibility for non-delivery or late items due to factors outside of our control. Import taxes or charges incurred from your purchase are the responsibillity of the purchaser. Please note - we stamp certain items prior to shipping. If you are returning merchandise, this ink stamp must be intact for a refund. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 10% on returned items. For goods which are not as you expected; please inform us by email within 7 days of delivery, of your intention to return items. Re-pack the goods using the original packaging where possible. Damage caused to returned goods because the original packaging wasn't used will prevent a refund being made. Goods arriving damaged will be returned to the customer. Arrange for the goods to be returned to us within 14 days of delivery. This will be at the customers expense. Proof of posting and ensuring adequate insurance to cover the possible loss or damage of the goods in transit is the customers responsibility. Costs incurred returning the goods to us will not be refunded. Goods lost or damaged in transit while being returned to us will not be refunded. In these circumstances it is the customers responsibility to recover costs from their shipping agent. We will assist you where possible. A refund of purchase costs will be made after goods have been inspected minus a 10% restocking fee. Any unreported damage found will prevent a refund being made and the goods may be returned to the customer. Madly Eclectic's decision is final. For goods arriving damaged; Inform us immediately you become aware of any damage to the goods (e.g. wrapping damaged on arrival, damage becomes apparent while its being unwrapped) or in any event within 48hrs of delivery by phone or email. Please take pictures of the wrapping / goods as soon as possible and email them to us within 48hrs of your report. The pictures should highlight the damage incurred to the goods and to the related packaging as clearly as possible. This will help us to design better ways to protect our goods in transit. Depending on the item we may ask you to arrange the return of the goods to us. Use the original packaging wherever possible. Proof of posting with adequate insurance to cover the possible loss or further damage of the goods in transit is the customers responsibility. Damaged goods lost in transit while being returned to us will not be refunded. In these circumstances it is the customers responsibility to recover costs from their shipping agent. We will assist you where possible. We will arrange a replacement where possible or refund the original purchase price after inspection to confirm the reported damage. If inspection reveals no damage or that the goods condition is in line with its sale description no refund will be made and the goods will be returned to the customer. Prices and stock are not contractually confirmed until you receive the confirmation of despatch sent to the email account provided by you. We reserve the right to withdraw from sale any items that have been described or priced incorrectly. Any contracts or agreements formed between yourself and Madly Eclectic through this website shall be governed and construed according to English law. Any disputes or proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
All Items are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery or Royal Mail Standard Parcels. A signature on delivery will be required. Where items would clearly benefit from a more secure means of shipping (i.e. high value items), we reserve the right to substitute a more secure means of delivery.
We would expect your delivery to arrive within 7 days. If after 15 working days (Mon - Fri), your parcel has not arrived, please contact us. We will then give you the tracking number so that you can check with your local sorting office. Very often it is simply a case that they have attempted delivery and not left a calling card.
If a package has been returned to Madly Eclectic because delivery was not possible, the cost of re-sending the package will be the responsibility of the customer.
RETURNS / REFUND POLICY
If you are not completely satisfied with the quality of any merchandise you receive, we will gladly refund your payment in full, less shipping/handling charges, for those pieces returned within 14 days.
Every care has been taken to ensure that all descriptions, specifications, colour and prices are as accurate as possible. However colour representations may vary depending on your own monitor.
Some of our items are hand made from natural materials and as such their composition and colour may vary slightly from that shown. Antique/vintage goods are as the description suggests old. This means the goods may have been used thus may show signs of general wear and tear or age related damage. Any such wear/ tear or damage will be explained in the listing description.
Whilst we take every care to verify the suitabillity of websites linked to Madly Eclectic, we cannot accept responsibillity for the content or actions of those sites. If you find any problems with a linked site, please take the time to tell us of your concearns. Whilst we have no control of other sites, we can remove their link if found to be unsuitable.
Our goods - are, to the best of our knowledge authentic, if it is proven that any are fake or copied, we will fully refund the price of the item, once it is received by us in its original condition. Postage and Packaging will not be refunded.
